1box Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
About 1/2 cup cherry pie filling (from 21-oz can)

Cut to make additional rounds.) 3 To make each pie pop, lightly press lollipop stick into crust round so that it rests in center. Top each round with 1/2 teaspoon pie filling; cover with second crust round. With fork or lollipop stick, press around edges to seal. Brush tops of pops with beaten egg; sprinkle with sugar. 4 Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely on cooling racks. .Any pie filling will work for this recipe.
If you want to double the recipe, one 21-ounce can is more than enough pie filling for 2 boxes of pie crusts..

INGREDIENTS
7cups fresh or frozen (partially thawed) sliced peeled peaches (about 3 pounds)
1 1/4cups sugar
1/4cup quick-cooking tapioca
1/4teaspoon cornstarch
1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS
1 Heat oven to 425°F. In large bowl, mix peaches, sugar, tapioca, cornstarch, cinnamon and lemon juice. Let stand 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2 Meanwhile, unroll 1 pie crust on work surface. Sprinkle both sides lightly with flour; place in ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate. Spoon peach mixture into crust-lined plate. Press firmly against side and bottom. Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places. 3 Cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning; bake 20 minutes. Remove foil; brush with preserves. Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool at least 2 hours before serving. .Julie Gonzalez of Okeana, Ohio, won 1st Place with this recipe at the Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust Pie Baking Championship, 2009 Ohio State Fair.
If you'd rather, 1/8 tsp. nutmeg can be substituted for the cinnamon for a subtle nutty flavor..

1st Day of School!

8:16 AM Posted by The Cookie Cutter Diva 0 comments

I'm behind on blogging by far! Let's see I lost my mail keys and had to pay $25 to replace them and my camera just dissapeared off my dresser a week ago so all of my pictures I was going to use to blog are gone.. gee I wonder if the 20 month old has them stashed together somewhere? haha

Yesterday was the first day back to school for my oldest two! My oldest Aidan is in 3rd grade! Man how time has flown by! It just doesn't seem like time for him to be in 3rd grade at all. He's still so small! He had a wonderful first day back and loved his new class.

My 2nd child is now in 1st grade! He loved his new class as well but was a litle dissapointed all of his friends were in another class. He's TAG this year so he wound up being split up but I think he will have fun and make new friends.

My 3rd child started her first year this year! She is in prek and man was she ready to leave me by far! She didn't even hesitate when we went to drop her off! She's one of the hardest to get up in the mornings and daddy woke her up and told her it was time to go to school and she jumped right up full of excitement! Daddy did pretty well with seeing her off too lol She had a grat first day and loved it!

I made alien pancakes for their back to school breakfast this morning. They loved that! I colored them green, used giant marshmallows for eyes topped with chocolate chips and chocolate chips for the mouth!

Update from the Hospital

Thursday, August 11, 2011 3:46 PM Posted by The Cookie Cutter Diva 0 comments
Well no recorded seizures which is a wonderful thing! I was afraid after not getting any that we would leave with no answers but they did blood work and turns out his iron, pheritan, and red blood cells were low so we're treating that. It can cause tremors in his sleep and things like that.
They also started him on some migraine medication to help his headaches and throwing up since we out ruled it being anything much more serious now.
So hopefully this will all work out so he will be feeling much better and not have these spells and sleep better and not miss school so much this year.
I enjoyed the time alone with him in the hospital and relaxing but I missed my other 3 kids like crazy and my husband! He did great playing Mr. Mom for 4 days though! Did a lot of stuff around the house like laundry and more for me!

Keagan's Hospital Trip and Salmonella!

Monday, August 8, 2011 6:35 PM Posted by The Cookie Cutter Diva 0 comments

So this morning we get one of the results that came back from the emergency room trip with my youngest daughter almost 2 weeks ago and she tested possitive for Salmonella! I can't imagine how in the world she got it or how she did and no one else in our family did! A lot of people said maybe since she has a lower immune system which makes a lot of sense.
I am so upset right now at the hosptial because not a single person called us to tell us and we got notified by letter and by the time it go to us the office was closed and we were told by the emergency room we would be charged again to get results and had to come in for them! So we find out today almost a week after the results come in that she needs to be on antibiotics! I'm glad it didn't turn out much worse with waiting!

I'm in the hospital now with my 2nd child. He has been admitted for a few days to be on a on going EEG to test for possible seizure activity and see if it is, how bad it is or if it's something else.

He's absolutely loving it since he gets time alone with mommy, got to pick out a ton of snacks for the trip and got to visit their awesome playroom before being hooked up to the monitor!

Well today was another day of trying to have some fun inside out of the heat and stay cool!

I had to go get my auto tags renewed so while we were out doing that we went over to the mall play area to let the kids run some energy out and have fun! One thing I actually do love about Lawton (there's not many lol) I wish we had a play area so bad at our mall in Texas! I'm shocked we don't!

Then we headed over to Orange Leaf to check that out since we had never been to it. It's a newer place here in Lawton with frozen yogurt a lot like Yo Yo's in Texas!

I loved how they had all these cute little chairs the kids sizes! Peyton thought that was just super neat and was swinging her feet and smiling!

The kids are outside swimming for the 2nd time today! They are really loving it and it's been nice for them to be able to have that luxury to go the pool whenever this summer on the visits home to my mom since we have to keep Peyton out of the heat more and it's been so flipping hot you want to go swimming but not stay for long so a lot more convenient being right out the back door for sure!

The kids got a cotton candy flavored frozen yogurt loaded with mike and ikes, chocolate chips, m&m's, sprinkles and all sorts of goodies!!

19 Days Left Summer..staying cool!

Yesterday my nephew came over for the day to visit and play with the kids and I took them all to chickfila to get out of this heat and play and get some ice cream! I love that the chickfila here has finally put their playground in doors! It's wonderful on days like yesterday when it's 110!

So we drove to Oklahoma and made it here around 5:30pm yesterday and surprised my parents and then went out to dinner.

Today we went to see

at the budget theater here that is $2 admission during the day and on Tuesdays buy one get one free for military! It's right accross from my parents house and I grew up going there so it's always fun taking the kids.

For the Love Of Frogs

Monday, August 1, 2011 10:10 AM Posted by The Cookie Cutter Diva 0 comments

My son Keagan is absolutely OBSESSED with frogs! I bought him a little habitat for his birthday and ordered a tad pole in the mail that came with it and unfortunatly they couldn't send it till the weather cools off. So right now he has a little turtle in it.

But this boy will catch any frog he sees and sneak them in the house! Last night I came inside and found him asleep with a frog on the couch till I woke him up and told him he had to put it in a box outside lol
